Dr. Michelle Weyhaupt joined the Vanderbilt Department of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in 2025. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and practices general psychiatry with a particular interest in women's mental health. In addition to her general psychiatry clinic, Dr. Weyhaupt maintains a psychosexual clinic, where she provides both psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management for patients with concerns around sexual function and wellbeing.

Dr. Weyhaupt graduated summa cum laude with undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Alabama in 2017. She then received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2021, followed by residency in general psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Throughout her medical training, she has also pursued education with the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine in London, UK, where she was the first visiting student from the US, and with Sexual Health Alliance, working toward her certification in sex therapy.
